Lighthouse Company's real-time monitoring system

32-port universal manifold monitoring system and comprehensive real-time monitoring system for large clean rooms.

1) With a 32-port universal manifold, a single particle counter Solair 1100LD capable of measuring 0.1µm particles can measure particles of size 0.1µm and larger at up to 32 locations. Each port of the manifold can accommodate a probe with a flow rate of 1.0 CFM (28.3 L/min), and each probe can be extended from 3m to 38m away. The automatic measurement procedures for each port can be set from a dedicated system controller. For example, after a 1-minute purge, a 1-minute measurement can be conducted, automatically switching to the next port to repeat the purge and measurement... and so on. Measurement data can be displayed, alerted, and recorded in real-time using Lighthouse's monitoring software, allowing for the management of cleanroom cleanliness. 2) In a comprehensive real-time monitoring system for large cleanrooms, data from numerous particle counters, temperature and humidity meters, and differential pressure gauges placed throughout the facility is collected via LAN to a server with Lighthouse's monitoring software installed. This allows for real-time display of monitoring data and alerts, enabling real-time management of cleanroom cleanliness.

Procedure for measuring in high concentration environments (such as oil mist environments)

The important point is to keep the flow going and discharge it outside!

Our counter has a counting error (count loss) of 15,000,000 CFM (cubic feet per minute = 28.3L) within 10%. This allows for high-concentration measurements, meaning it can distinguish between high and low count values. However, counting implies that high-concentration foreign substances and mist will enter the flow path (optical sensor, tube, pump). Therefore, we will guide you on how to measure without damaging the particle counter. 【Measurement Method】 ■ Set the sampling configuration 1. Set the sample time to 6 seconds 2. Set the hold time to 5 seconds 3. Set the cycles to 10 times 4. Before measurement, attach the purge filter and confirm zero count 5. After starting the measurement, once the third count of the target measurement times is completed, attach the purge filter to the inlet 6. If the final screen at the end of the measurement does not approach zero count, restart the measurement as is until the count value approaches zero *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Data] Particle Counter and Large Particles

The ISO cleanliness level is clear! But why is the work surface contaminated? We will answer that.

This document introduces particle counters and large particles. It addresses the question, "Are there no large particles in clean rooms?" as well as the concerns of "not being able to measure" and "is that all?" Additionally, it includes references on gravitational settling, the particle size of contaminants that should be managed (e.g., thin films, laminating, painting processes), and more. It responds to the misconception that particle counters can handle particle sizes from very small to very large. [Contents] ■ Are there no large particles in clean rooms? ■ Not being able to measure, is that all? ■ Reference 1: What about gravitational settling of particles? ■ Reference 2: Particle size of contaminants that should be managed (e.g., thin films, laminating, painting processes) ■ Reference 3: Real-time mode = seeing what is happening right in front of you *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Consideration on Particle Sedimentation

We will introduce a discussion on the settling distance and time based on particle size!

This document presents considerations on particle sedimentation. It includes calculations of sedimentation distance per unit time for particles, as well as other related values. We have provided clear graphs and tables, so please take a look. However, this is only an example concerning solid particles. Droplets are excluded due to their significant interaction with the environment. [Contents] ■ Calculated values of sedimentation distance per unit time for particles - Sedimentation time in the vertical direction can be calculated by particle size (or conversely, floating time) - Gravitational sedimentation velocity of fine particles *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Data] Article: A mere particle counter, yet a particle counter.

Particle counters are not exclusively for clean rooms. They are expanding their applications from traditional production environments to everyday living spaces.

In recent years, OPC (Optical Particle Counter) is expanding its use beyond clean rooms (CR), that is, in new settings such as work environments, indoor environments, and atmospheric environments. This document considers the new applications of OPC that are not limited to tools for monitoring CR cleanliness. We have reprinted an article published in the Clean Technology magazine. Please take a moment to read it. [Contents] ■ Introduction ■ Overview of OPC as a cleanliness monitoring device for CR ■ New settings, environments, and applications for OPC ■ Suggestions for new applications ■ Conclusion *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Particle Counter "Model 5301C・5501C"

Achieving inline measurement! A pressure air-compatible particle counter using a self-compensating free jet sensor.

Until now, particle counters have been considered to only support suction sampling under atmospheric pressure due to the structure of the sensors, and it was thought that particle measurement in compressed air or gas could not be performed. On the other hand, with the institutionalization of HACCP and the transition to ISO 22000 (June 2021), it has become necessary to manage dust, bacteria, water, and oil for gases that come into direct or indirect contact with food. Additionally, there is a significant demand for cleanliness monitoring in pneumatic systems such as ProAir. The Particle Plus 'Model 5301C/5501C' has achieved direct measurement of particles in pressurized air through its unique self-compensating free jet sensor. [Features] - Self-compensating free jet sensor adopted - Six selectable particle size settings - Data collection in 1-second intervals (45,000 logs) - Real-time meter - Multi-point monitoring software AMOSYS *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
